SRFME is the Strategic Research Fund for the Marine Environment — a A$20 million joint venture between the Western Australian State Government and the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO).

SRFME was established in 2001 to enhance marine science capability and capacity in Western Australia and to facilitate strong collaboration among marine researchers from government, universities and the private sector.

This web site will inform you about the various programs that were operated by SRFME and links to the research results being produced by SRFME funded researchers and collaborators.
